Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday claimed that the state’s cancer care model is being emulated across the country.
Inaugurating a cancer care unit at Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) here, Sarma also affirmed the government’s commitment to the development of Barak Valley, seeking to dismiss allegations of neglect towards that region by the administration.
